SUMMARY
This Roger Sipher is a crazy man. He believes education shouldn't be mandatory in public schools, because private schools don't need a compulsory law. The law shall set you free! I believe this statement is true and should be abided by all schools and entities. Education is necessary and this stupid, stupid man believes that if it weren't mandatory, the grades would go up and only those children committed to recieving a fine education will attend class. I think no kid wants to go to school, so they would be empty. We are very naive people and need some guidance and specially some strong rules so we can follow them and they lead us into a responsible adutlhood. Maybe this guy feels he is a psychologist and thinks that kids only want to break rules, so if there is no rule of going to school, they might go there out of pleasure. About 2% of our grade comes to school out of pleasure. Sipher believes the benefits to no compulsory-attendance laws are great, but I don't believe this thought should even be tested.
PARAPHRASING
Original: The solution to this problem is simple: Abolish compulsory-attendance laws and allow only those who are committed to getting an education to attend.
This conflict has a very easy answer: End obligatory attendance rules and only permit an education to those who are compromised.
